Below is the list of fixes and improvements in Active Query Builder 2 WinForms Edition v.2.4.5.586.
! CriteriaBuilder API has been changed. The QueryBuilder property is removed, the QueryTransformer property is added. CriteriaBuilder now requires an instance of the QueryTransformer component connected to the QueryBuilder component in it's turn. This change will allow for changing of sorting and filters using the single QueryTransformer component. For example, you can handle mouse clicks on the column headers of the data grid to change sorting. + CriteriaBuilder: The new InvalidValueColor property is added. = CriteriaBuilder: The content of dropdown list in column selection combobox is filtered on typing text. = CriteriaBuilder: The width of column selection combobox is automatically computed according to the width of list items. - Oracle: Usage of the "TIMESTAMP" keyword as column name is possible now. - Fixed redundant code generation in Visual Studio form designer.

We have been using Active Query Builder for over a year and must say that both the product and support have been outstanding!
We chose Active Query Builder due to its flexibility and features, but have been truly pleased by its power and hidden capabilities. ...
In summary Active Query Builder provides excellent components, great support and a very flexible feature set. It has allowed us to provide features to our end users that I did not think would be possible in the first release of our new tools and in a timeframe that was much shorter than planned. I would recommend that anyone dealing with databases in the .Net world should be aware of this component and its capabilities!
